15th Street Fisheries, a Florida institution for twenty years has recently undergone a sharp decline in quality. I recently ate there with a group of friends and at least four of our party sent thier food back.My stuffed sole was luke-warm and bland. The stone crabs were rubbery and not fresh. Not one person in our party enjoyed their food. Not so incidentally,we were there, in part, because one of our group had received a $450 voucher as a result of a previous visit that prompted her to write a letter to the management in complaint. I understand that the restaurant is now being run (into the ground) by the son of the original owner. I sincerely hope that the owners might take heed of the current downward trend and correct the problem before it is too late. I would hate to see us lose what has been for so long a delightful and historic South Florida dining experience. Thank you.
